Artist's statement...

Within the past year, my work has specifically focused upon sensation and perception, evoking a visual or optical effect of form as well as an emotive or bodily experience. Within this time my choice of materials and processes shifted from the conventions of traditional painting to materials found in consumer culture- (coffee filters, cable ties, bubble wrap, etc.), creating multi-media constructions, reflecting the psychological experience of contemporary life.
